Coloplast TFL Drive Laser

Coloplast TFL Drive Laser

Power Made Safer*

This all-in-one solution for lithotripsy, BPH and soft tissue offers full support and customization to truly inspire confidence and innovation in the operative room.

Product description

The thulium fiber laser (TFL) uses a long, thin, thulium-doped silica fiber as the active carrier of the laser. Several diodes pump energy into the fiber and excite thulium ions. The photons are emitted at a wavelength of 1940 nm and directed to the operational field via an outgoing laser fiber.

Performance1:

In vitro tests comparing Coloplast TFL Drive vs Holmium technology has shown an increased ablation volume, finer dust quality and less energy consumption.

Safety1:

Coloplast TFL Drive have been designed with safety in mind, with pre-defined power limits conditioned by the anatomical location of the treatment and warning mention when limits exceeded.

Intuitive interface1:

Usability study has shown that the interface is easy to understand, simple to navigate, allows quick selection of effective parameters, inspires confidence regarding safety, and brings expectation of increased efficacy compared to using the laser with no pre-setting mode.

Versatility:

All-in-one solution, can be used for Lithotripsy, BPH, Soft Tissue.
