A blend of absorbing and hydrating properties, easy to apply
- The combination of absorbing and hydrating properties supports natural autolytic debridement and moist wound healing
- The gel can be removed by rinsing with physiological saline solution or tap water
- The viscous texture of the gel makes it stay in place** and, even after absorption of debris and exudate, the gel will remain non-soluble*** throughout its use**
Usage
Purilon® gel is indicated for necrotic and sloughy wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, and it may be used on 1st and 2nd degree burns. The gel may be used throughout the healing process to provide a moist healing environment. Purilon® gel should be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing. To optimise cleansing of necrotic and sloughy wounds, the product should be changed at least every 3rd day as these wounds produce more exudate.
